Whether it’s meditating, journaling, or simply relaxing with no distractions, set aside at least 15 minutes for absolutely nothing but yourself. Start now and make it a habit to do this every day. You deserve it. After your little break, you’ll feel reenergized and ready to take whatever the new week throws your way.
What’re You Grateful For?
Life can get crazy. We are constantly running around trying to get a hold of all our different responsibilities. It can be easy to forget why’re we’re making ourselves so busy to begin with. Slow down and think about some of the things you’re grateful for and why.
Plan Plan Plan
Invest in yourself and a good planner to write down all major tasks and events for the upcoming week. This will give you a good idea of your weekly and monthly activities at a glance.
Important project due this week? Dentist appointment on Thursday? With everything written down and accounted for, you’ll be ready to attack the week.
Try Something New
As you’re thinking about your upcoming week, think about something you’ve always wanted to try but have not prioritized. See where you can fit in something, big or small, and prioritize it. It’ll give you something to look forward to!
For example, take that salsa dance class after work or try that new pizza place around the corner. Trying new things will make any day a little brighter. Who knows? Maybe you’ll find you favorite new pizza spot!
